NBA Market Share Report: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Gets the Green Light
The rookie has come on much quicker than expected and his versatility is a perfect match with an uptempo Clippers team.

Subtle Substance

If there’s one thing almost anyone can get behind in daily fantasy, it’s the idea of having a consistent plug-and-play that comes at a reasonable price with limited volatility. And so far this season, one of the favorites for such a criteria is Jerami Grant in Oklahoma City.

Nothing too fancy, no inflated stat lines, not necessarily the play that’ll win you a tournament by itself, but also nothing that will sink your roster. Grant’s fantasy scoring has found a comfortable sweet spot at 24 FanDuel points per game (missing at least 20 fantasy points only twice) and it makes for a nice return on his $5,072 average salary.

On those nights when you’re looking to finish up a lineup, Grant always seems to be around, waiting near the bottom but boasting plenty of effort, enough minutes (a career-high 29.9 per game), and a skill set that allows for a little production in multiple categories (11.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.9 steals, 1.0 blocks per game). The Thunder are playing with pace and Grant is meshing well. Unless he stops showing up all together, Grant is a reliable and effective piece whose production seems to middle in a nice range for a friendly salary.

The Thunder hit the road to take on the Suns tomorrow night, followed by the Kings and Warriors next week.
