With Kyle Anderson out the next couple of weeks for the Memphis Grizzlies, a wealth of playing time opened up on the wing. Getting the first shot at starting in Anderson's place was Jevon Carter on Monday. The rookie stuck on the court for fewer than 15 minutes against the Houston Rockets as Omri Casspi ended up being the biggest beneficiary.
The veteran forward logged a season-high 24.8 minutes in the Grizzlies' loss, scoring 12 points with 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. He finished with 22.6 FanDuel points. When given a shot at playing time this season, Casspi has not disappointed. In eight games with at least 17 minutes, he has posted at least 18 FanDuel points six times. In those eight games, he is averaging 20.8 FanDuel points per game.
Casspi doesn't need to see that level of production to reach value on Wednesday either as the forward carries just a $3,700 salary, making a decent punt play option on an eight-game slate with limited value options.
