The Philadelphia 76ers will still be without Joel Embiid (knee) for tonight's matchup with the Chicago Bulls, which means big things for Ben Simmons' fantasy value.
Simmons is never a slouch, averaging a strong 1.21 FanDuel points per minute with Embiid on the floor this year, but that mark does jump to 1.28 sans Embiid.
His efficiency isn't the only thing that changes without Embiid, either, as he ends up being called on to handle a much bigger workload. In 10 contests without Embiid this year, Simmons has averaged 37.4 minutes and 14.4 field goal attempts per game, compared to 33.7 and 11.7 with Embiid playing. This has led to a jump from 41.8 to 46.2 FanDuel points per game.
The Bulls also make for a terrific matchup, allowing the NBA's 11th-most points, 8th-most assists and 6th-most rebounds per game to opponents. Simmons' 10 triple-doubles on the year are the third-most in the NBA, and few players are as qualified to take advantage of such well-rounded generosity as he is.
