Until his price sees a major hike or his minutes take a dive, Frank Kaminsky is hard to ignore as one of the better value plays on a nightly basis.
After basically receiving no run in January and February, Kaminsky has become a staple of the Charlotte Hornets' lineup in March. He's received more than 20 minutes in four of five games this month, scoring at least 15 real-world points and 21.6 FanDuel points in each of those contests.
He's shooting 58.3% from the field and a remarkable 50.0% from deep in March, twice hitting four threes in a game. The former Wisconsin star could see more run than usual tonight when the Hornets take on the Rockets, who are 12-1 and outscoring opponents by an average of 9.6 points per home contest when Clint Capela, Chris Paul, and James Harden all take the court. Remove a 19-point opening game loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, and the Rockets are winning by an average of 12.1 points. Simply put, this game could get out of control.
Expect Kaminsky to once again hover in the 20-to-25 minute range if the Hornets are able to stay in the game, and his minutes could rise into the upper 20s if the Rockets can break away early.
