Winners of five straight and eight out of their past 10, the Detroit Pistons have moved up to sixth place in the Eastern Conference playoff standings, 4.5 games clear of the ninth-place Orlando Magic. One of the reasons for their recent success has been the strong play of point guard Reggie Jackson.
Jackson's assist numbers have fallen off from recent years, but he's shooting a career-best 37.7% from deep and is turning the ball over just 1.7 times per game, the lowest he's ever averaged in a season in which he's started a game.
His minutes have taken a hit this month; he's seeing an average of just 24.2 minutes of run in five March games, 4.9 lower than last month. His per-minute fantasy averages, however, have risen. His rate of 1.08 FanDuel points per minute in March are his best single month of the season.
Tonight he faces a Brooklyn Nets team he's scored at least 28.4 FanDuel points against in three straight and six out of his last eight. We project him to get close to that tonight, pegging him for 26.7 FanDuel points -- 5.03 points per $1,000.
