One player who isn't reliant on others tonight for his fantasy potential is Orlando Magic point guard D.J. Augustin. Augustin is coming of a solid 16-point, 7-assist effort in last night's 100-90 loss to the Washington Wizards, and he'll get a juicy fantasy matchup on the second night of a back-to-back, though it may not be an easy win.
Augustin and the Magic get a home tilt against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs have won 5 of their past 10 games, including wins over the Magic and, amazingly, the Toronto Raptors. Despite the life they've shown, they are still a team to target for fantasy purposes, as Augustin showed the last time they met.
The veteran pass-first guard put up 19 points, 5 boards, and 5 assists against Cleveland on March 3, resulting in 30.5 FanDuel points. Our models don't have him reaching those heights tonight, but they do project him to put up a respectable 21.6 FanDuel points with an upside of 38.4 -- a value of more than 8.0 points per $1,000.
