Another Nuggets player has a strong chance to benefit from a blowout tonight, but he may not need one in order to return solid value.
Mason Plumlee was all everyone could talk about when Paul Millsap was out. He tallied an average of 27.6 FanDuel points in games Millsap missed earlier this year, making him a nightly target for FanDuel players. What people don't often talk about, however, is that he returns solid value quite often in a backup role as well.
That has been on display over the past week as he's put up at least 26 FanDuel points in four out of his past six contests. He saw at least 20 minutes of run in each of those four games, which could easily happen again tonight against Dallas, who should be overmatched.
Even if he doesn't see much more than that, however, he could still return a solid value. Plumlee has scored a minimum of 22.9 FanDuel points in his past four against Dallas. That 22.9 came in just 18 minutes, and he had another 29.1 FanDuel point effort on February 22 where he played just 21 minutes.
Needless to say, Plumlee has shown he doesn't need a ton of run to provide value, so even a modest bump in a potential blowout tonight could mean a big boost in his potential return. We currently have him projected for 21.7 FanDuel points with high-end upside of 38.6.
