You've got to give it to the New Orleans Pelicans players. While the management is deadset against them succeeding, they're going out there every single night and at least giving it a go. While they've been losing regularly, many of their games have been competitive, and tonight's should be no exception.
The team heads to Arizona to take on another injury-riddled team in the Phoenix Suns. With Frank Jackson out once again due to a concussion, it will likely be Ian Clark who once again gets the starting nod.
Clark has had mixed results as a starter, but he clearly showed his upside in his last game, finishing with 17 points, 6 boards, 3 assists, and 32.5 DraftKings points. Those six boards were pretty unusual, but the double-figures weren't. Clark has scored in double figures in 7 of his past 10 games, including twice when he only played 14 minutes.
He's played the Suns twice this season, scoring an average of 15.9 FanDuel points in 14.4 minutes per game. That strong 1.1 FanDuel points per minute average is pretty encouraging given that he should see over 30 minutes of run once again.
While our models don't have him topping 30.0 FanDuel points tonight, we do have him with a solid 24.5, which would be enough to return nearly 6.3 points per $1,000.
