10 Struggling Teams Entering the 2018 NCAA Tournament
After looking like a real threat to break Kansas' streak of consecutive Big-12 regular season conference titles, Texas Tech dropped four in a row at the end of February. Which other teams struggled to close the season, and what can we expect from them in

Clemson Tigers

The Clemson Tigers dealt with the loss of Donte Grantham (who is top two on the team in both points and rebounds per game) to a season-ending knee injury quite well. They were clobbered by the Virginia Cavaliers, but in fairness, Virginia destroyed just about everyone this season. They followed that up with four straight wins, including a huge one against the North Carolina Tar Heels.

After that point, however, Clemson went just 3-5 for the remainder of the season. While none of these losses were by double digits and all were to NCAA Tournament teams, it does appear that the effects of losing a very good player in Grantham is finally showing itself against tough competition.
