The Ohio State Buckeyes benefit from having the best player -- Keita Bates-Diop -- on the floor in almost every game they play. But even he couldn't stop the Buckeyes from dropping three of their final five games, including their Big Ten Conference Tournament opener.

Their road loss to Michigan team -- who ended their season on a nine-game winning streak en route to their second consecutive conference tournament title -- is excusable. However, dropping two games to a Penn State Nittany Lions team that didn't even make the tournament is a bit of a concern.

Our metrics still like Ohio State quite a bit. Their 13.75 nERD is right in line with their seed, but for a team with some scary matchups (a quality South Dakota State team and a potential showdown against Gonzaga), you would like to see a stronger finish to their regular season.
