The Best College Basketball Teams With Fewer Than 20 Wins
Which teams with a not-so-impressive final record were the best in the country?

Florida Gators

Florida's story isn't much different than Oklahoma State's. They were also 8-10 in conference play in the SEC, but their record wasn't quite as nice: 16-17. Still, Florida's nERD of 10.08 ranks 38th in the nation.

Like Oklahoma State, Florida's strength is its defense, but the Gators are even feistier than the Cowboys, as Florida ranks in the 89th percentile in defense in the nation. Their offense, though, is much, much worse, ranking in the 45th percentile.

Florida has been subject to the fourth-toughest schedule in the entire country, according to our math, so ending the season under .500 is pretty understandable albeit unfortunate.
