4 Mid-Majors Poised to Destroy Brackets
There's a shark in the water, waiting to gobble up power-conference softies. Who are they, and how far will they go?

Dayton Flyers

Seed: 11
nERD Rank: 46

Dayton is probably slightly under-seeded, but no matter, as like the previous one, this one is all about matchup. While Boise State is a very difficult matchup - both of these teams have an infinitely stronger profile that committee vomit-fest UCLA - Dayton is the better team and should move on to face the over-seeded, poor-shooting team from Providence.

Providence isn't a bad team, but they're not great at anything, ranking square in the middle of the tournament on both defensive and offensive efficiency. Further, they ended their season just 5-5, incurring a horrific loss to 13-18 Brown along the way. They're young and they're inexperienced in the tournament; two things that Dayton has in spades.

They've also got Archie Miller. Beware the Flyers.
