There is only one quarterback who fits our ADP criteria and will not face a single top-20 pass defense the first four weeks of the season. Everybody bow down to the late-round-quarterback deity, Tony Romo.
Romo's toughest assignment the first four weeks will come against Washington in Week 2, and they finished 2015 ranked 22nd against the pass. Romo will have the added bonus of facing the San Francisco 49ers in Week 4, a team that was not only horrendous against the pass in 2015 but will also be playing at a high pace this year under new coach Chip Kelly. Swoon city, yo.
The schedule isn't the only thing Romo has in his corner. We've seen in the past that high Vegas preseason win totals are conducive to quarterback fantasy scoring, and Bovada pegs the Dallas Cowboys' win projection at 9.5 wins, tied for the best mark of any quarterback eligible for this list. With the Cowboys' elite offensive line and Dez Bryant at wide receiver, can you blame them for being high on this team?
The schedule wants you to draft Romo. Vegas wants you to draft Romo. You should probably draft Romo. If he gets injured, you can simply pick up a replacement on the wire, and the upsides of a healthy Romo are simply delicious.
