Owned in 6.7% of ESPN Leagues
Again, a high-powered offense with a huge projected team total provides us with another tight end who is probably not owned in your league. Jesse James and the Pittsburgh Steelers boast an impled total of 26.5 points (third-highest) against Washington, who ranked 22nd in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per drop back last season.
Washington's pass defense will likely be better with the offseason acquisition of Josh Norman, but the coverage of Norman and Bashaud Breeland on Pittsburgh's receivers could funnel more targets to James over the middle.
With Le'Veon Bell, Martavis Bryant, and Ladarius Green all out this week, there should be plenty of volume available in Pittsburgh's passing offense, particularly in the red zone. Probably more so than the previous plays, James has some risk, but the potential for a big game is certainly there.
