5 Players Whose FanDuel Salaries Are Way Too Low
Month-old salaries led to underpriced players in Week 1. But which cheap guys should you target and use?

Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles

FanDuel Price: $5,000

It appeared that Prescott would be the sole value option in Week 1, but things change quickly -- the Philadelphia Eagles traded Sam Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings, and Carson Wentz leapfrogged Chase Daniel to become the Week 1 starter. The same advice applies here, though. With the abundance of value on this slate, there’s no reason to roster a quarterback who has thrown just 24 preseason passes in his NFL career.

If these guys are too risky for cash games, then they’re still great fliers in tournaments, right? Well, kind of -- Prescott will be highly owned, and you won’t gain much on the field should he have a great performance. Wentz, on the other hand, will be less than five percent owned and has an equal, if not better chance, of hitting tournament value than Prescott.

Since 2014, minimum priced quarterbacks on FanDuel have reached tournament value -- 15.0 points -- in 33 percent of their starts. If you’re going to be cheap at quarterback in GPPs, it makes a lot of sense to use Wentz.
