The Miami Dolphins have started the season 0-2 following two tough road games against the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.
In Week 3, the Dolphins have their home-opener in what looks like the prototypical "get-well game." The Cleveland Browns are coming to town and are expected to start third-round rookie quarterback Cody Kessler after injuries to Robert Griffin III and Josh McCown.
Kessler was shaky in the preseason, completing 19 of 28 passes for only 92 yards and 1 touchdown. Through those four preseason games, Kessler was sacked seven times.
Just last week, Adam Schefter reported that Browns' sources believed Kessler was "not close to being ready to play." Now, he'll start behind an offensive line that has already failed to protect two quarterbacks in Griffin (sacked five times in Week 1) and McCown (sacked three times in Week 2).
Meanwhile, the Miami defense has performed pretty well considering their opening matchups. Through two weeks, the Dolphins have generated five sacks, tied for seventh-most in the league, and three turnovers.
This games boasts a 41.5-point over/under with the Dolphins favored by 10.
Fire up the Dolphins with confidence in Week 3 going against Kessler in his first career NFL start.
