Fantasy Football: 5 Historical Vegas Trends You Should Know for Week 3
What do the odds say about Week 3 for certain players, and how can your fantasy teams benefit?

Start Andrew Franks as a Double-Digit Favorite

numberFire's Jim Sannes wrote a fantastic article in January on how kickers performed based on measures such as Vegas spreads, implied totals, and favorites versus underdogs. Based on his findings, we need to target kickers on teams that are heavily favored, with implied team total as the tiebreaker.

In Week 3, we are targeting Andrew Franks, the starting kicker for the aforementioned Dolphins.

Andrew lacks a cool name like Bubba Franks, and he also lacks a reputation as a fantasy kicker after finishing 30th among kickers in total FanDuel points in 2015. That being said, we are going to trust the data and deploy Franks because Miami is the one of the largest favorites on the slate. Miami also has the fourth-largest implied total in the league at 25.75 points.

Franks is going for the FanDuel minimum of $4,500, making him a nice plug-and-play option for those of you who want to spend up at other positions.
