Running Back: Tevin Coleman

Tevin Coleman, RB, Atlanta Falcons
12 Rushes, 42 Yards, 3 Touchdowns
3 Receptions, 47 Yards, 3 Targets
Performance: 99, NEP: +12.27

Despite being in a full-blown committee with Devonta Freeman, Coleman was able to climb to the top of the running back performance rankings this week after reaching the end zone three times. He had a monster Monday Night Football performance, finishing with 12 carries for 42 yards and 3 touchdowns while picking up an additional 47 yards on 3 receptions. The two Atlanta Falcons running backs combined for 26 carries, 194 yards and 3 scores on the ground, adding 8 catches for 102 yards and 1 touchdown through the air.

After three weeks, Coleman ranks top 10 in Rushing NEP (9th), Reception NEP (1st) and Total NEP (1st) among all running backs. Coleman's performance in Week 3 also netted him the RB2 finish this week with 29.9 fantasy points in points per reception (PPR) formats, just a hair behind Freeman. Averaging over 20 fantasy points per game, Coleman is currently the RB4 on the season and has a date with the visiting Carolina Panthers next week.
