Which players from Week 3 helped put their team in the best position to succeed?

Wide Receiver: Marvin Jones

Marvin Jones, WR, Detroit Lions
6 Receptions, 205 Yards, 8 Targets, 2 Touchdowns
Performance: 100, NEP: +18.59

With Sam Shields out, Jones ran wild. He torched rookie Damarious Randall and the rest of the Packers' secondary to the tune of 6 receptions for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Jones saw eight targets this week, finishing with a Performance Grade of 100. His biggest play came right before halftime as he was able to make an acrobatic sideline grab over Josh Hawkins and take it 73 yards to the house. Jones added +6.62 to his net expected points on this play alone. He was also able to get behind the secondary for another big 35-yard touchdown play, adding another +3.79 expected points.

Jones has been a consistent performer since signing with Detroit, and he now leads all receivers in Reception NEP.

Through three weeks, Jones is the overall WR1 in fantasy football, and it's hard to envision him slowing down too much. Stafford continues to look in Jones direction, with the wideout averaging 9.7 targets per game, and Detroit is once again a pass-heavy offense, throwing on 64.65% of their plays. They led the league in pass play percentage last season at 65.63%. Jones could very easily make this list again in the near future.
