Plugging the Gaps: IDP Waiver Wire for Week 7
Brian Robison has been an ageless wonder for IDP fantasy football players in 2016.

Emmanuel Ogbah, Outside Linebacker

I was a big, big fan of Cleveland Browns edge rusher Emmanuel Ogbah coming out in this draft class, based on his production on tape and physical prowess. He sadly had to wait until last week to get the first sack of his NFL career, but it was well-earned, and now that he’s broken through, there should be only more where that was. He ranks a solid 25th in quarterback hit rate among the 52 outside linebackers to register 40 snaps per game this year, and he’s earning much more playing time as we move further into his rookie year.

He’s a boom-or-bust option in Week 7 against the Cincinnati Bengals, who are squarely average in pass-to-run play call ratio, but have allowed the fourth-highest sack rate in the league to opposing defenses. Ogbah isn’t going to be a heavy tackler, and the Bengals rank 15th-highest in stuff rate allowed anyway, so really this banks on him getting a sack. I have faith in the young man, and so should you.

Ogbah is available in 99.6% of ESPN IDP leagues, and we project him for 5.35 tackles, 0.18 sacks, 0.18 passes defended, and a total score of 6.27 fantasy points in Week 7.
