Fantasy Football: 5 Historical Vegas Trends You Should Know for Week 8
What do the odds say about Week 8 for certain players -- like Andrew Luck's record as a home underdog -- and how can your fantasy teams benefit?

Start Michael Thomas as a Home Underdog

Two weeks ago, I recommended Michael Thomas as a home underdog, and he finished 11th among wide receivers on FanDuel even though he was priced at 57th among them. Thomas finds himself in the same situation, albeit versus a tougher opponent.

Since Thomas is a rookie, we don't have many trends to utilize, but it's well-known that his quarterback, Drew Brees is a monster at home. In Brees' three games at home this season, he has scored 33.46, 31.42, and 26.94 FanDuel points.

It's worth noting that Thomas is quietly leading the New Orleans Saints in red zone targets, too. That's exactly what he look for in tournament plays.

The thing I like most about this game for the Saints offense is the line movement. The game opened with the Seahawks favored by 3.5 points, but it has since dropped to 2.5, crossing through that key number of 3. The total has also risen from 47.5 to 48 points.

Thomas is priced at $5,700, which is 32nd among wide receivers on FanDuel. His cheap price paired with the upside of his offense in the Superdome is what makes him worth targeting in tournaments.
