High-Cost Option: Spencer Ware ($6,800)
The Indianapolis Colts need a complete overhaul at linebacker, but until that day comes, we need to keep targeting them against the run. Five different running backs have eclipsed 20-plus points against them so far in 2016 with the Colts ranking bottom-five in total yards and total touchdowns allowed to the position. Spencer Ware has been a monster as of late, eclipsing 20-plus points in two straight weeks, and Jamaal Charles may be held back again in Week 8. DraftKings raised the price an extra $1,000 on Ware this week, but he's in a terrific spot where he could still retain cash value.
Mid-Cost Option: Jacquizz Rodgers ($5,800)
It looks like another week of Jacquizz Rodgers leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers backfield. Rodgers has averaged 20.6 fantasy points over his past two outings as the lead back and gets a solid matchup this week against the Raiders. Oakland is giving up the third-most rushing yards and ranks second-worst in run defense, per our metrics. Averaging 31 touches per game as a lead running back, Rodgers is seeing the volume and production to warrant usage again this week in a very fantasy-friendly matchup.
Low-Cost Option: Devontae Booker ($3,700)
After news of C.J. Anderson's injury, Devontae Booker should be the lock of the week at just $3,700. There's nothing contrarian about using Booker, but he's in a terrific spot against a San Diego Chargers defense that is yielding the third-most fantasy points to opposing runnings. The Chargers have given up 10 total touchdowns already to opposing running backs and could very likely see that total rise with the Denver Broncos playing at home as 4.5-point home favorites. Booker's coming off his best game of the season where he rushed for 83 yards and a score on 17 carries. Expect an even bigger performance this week with Booker in a lead role.
Other Options: Christine Michael ($7,300), Ezekiel Elliott ($7,200), Matt Forte ($6,400), Frank Gore ($4,700) Mike Gillislee ($3,800)
