We go through these market shares each week to tell you which situations you want to avoid and which merit investment. Week 9 made that look a bit silly.

An investigation of last week's work distribution would have told you to steer clear of Mark Ingram and fully embrace Devontae Booker. Their situations were trending in opposite directions, and there were reasons to think those fluctuations were sustainable.

Then Ingram went out and out-scored Booker by 26.6 half-PPR points on Sunday. Welp city, brudduhs and sistahs.

Still, once we dig a bit deeper into those Week 9 statlines, you'll be able to see exactly why we do this. Even if the fantasy output was dope for Ingram and a buzzkill for Booker, their relative workloads tell a much different story, and we clearly can't base our outlook for them off of their fantasy production in that one game.
