Re-Drafting the Quarterbacks From the 2012 NFL Draft Using Advanced Analytics
Five seasons later, how would things be different?

6. Nick Foles

In the re-draft, there's quite a dropoff to Nick Foles at number six. He was a third-round pick, like Wilson and Cousins, but unlike them, he's accounted for just 79.36 NEP during his NFL career.

His quarterback rating of 88.1 tells us he's been efficient, but not much of a threat to throw the ball downfield. It hasn't helped that he's been a part of dink-and-dunk offenses in Philadelphia and Kansas City as well as a lackluster offense in St. Louis.

Surprisingly enough, Foles -- in his inconsistent whirlwind of a five-year career -- has made a jump from the seventh quarterback taken to the sixth-best of the 2012 draft class. He's a solid NFL backup, but nothing much would change unless we're talking the Eagles' franchise timeline.
