The 10 Best NFL Teams to Not Win a Super Bowl Since 2000
Which teams have fallen short of both expectations and the final prize?

Peyton Manning, again? Yeah, I guess we shouldn't be surprised at the frequency of his appearances on this list given his reputation for being great in the regular season, but not finishing the job in the playoffs.

This time wasn't any different, as the Colts, under Tony Dungy, went 13-3 with the league's third-best scoring offense and the best scoring defense, allowing 16.4 points per game. Of course, the star of the offense was Manning and his 31 passing touchdowns, whereas Robert Mathis led the way on defense with seven sacks.

Given that, the Colts unquestionably disappointed when they lost in the divisional round to the San Diego Chargers at home, 28-24. Manning threw three touchdowns but they came with two costly picks.
