Ranking the Kickers Remaining in the NFL Playoffs
Kickers are often the afterthought -- until the spotlight hits them. Which playoff kicker has been the most reliable in 2016?

5. Steven Hauschka, Seattle Seahawks

Stat Score Rank
Field Goal NEP 9.27 16
Field Goal NEP/Play 0.25 17
Late-Game NEP/Play -0.18 23

Last season, Steven Hauschka, hands down, was the best kicker among the final eight. This year, his Field Goal NEP dropped from a career-high 30.90 (1.00 per kick) to the lowest it's been since 2010.

Perhaps even more problematically, Hauschka was 10 of 13 on field goal attempts in the fourth quarter and overtime and just 6 of 9 on extra point attempts in that timeframe in 2016. He is one of just two playoff kickers left with a negative NEP score in late-game situations.
