The 10 Worst Starting Running Backs From the 2016 NFL Season
Based on numberFire's Rushing Success Rate metric, these are last season's worst-performing starting running backs.

Rashad Jennings, New York Giants

Rushing Success Rate: 32.60% (181 rushes, 59 successes)

The veteran back started the season as the New York Giants' primary runner, but he was injured in Week 2 and missed the next three games.

Jennings logged double-digit touches in all 13 games in which he played. Basically, he had a high workload but couldn’t find a way to capitalize on it in a consistent way. Jennings’ 87 rushing yards in Week 10 marked a season-high, and he only scored 4 touchdowns the entire season.

When rookie Paul Perkins got more involved halfway through the season, the Giants ground game became more effective, but that’s not saying much. Jennings is gearing up to be on ABC's “Dancing With the Stars” ... you do the math.
