Sanders rushed for a personal-best 16 touchdowns and caught another one, giving him a career-high 17 scores in only his third NFL campaign. Oh, and he only played 15 games.

In addition, Sanders led the league in rushing yards per game (103.2), while earning his spot on the All-Pro First-Team and Pro Bowl roster. His 12-4 Lions finished the year with an appearance in the NFC Championship game.
