Coming into the 1998 season, it's doubtful anybody knew this would be Sanders' very last year of entertaining fans on the gridiron, Sanders included. If the then-30-year-old could've picked a year after the fact, this probably wouldn't have been the season to go out on. He played in all 16 games, but he disappointed with just four scores on 343 rushes and 37 receptions. He did, however, do a whole bunch of moving up and down the field, racking up 1,780 yards.
