At the tender age of 28, the one they called Flash 80 turned in one of many Pro Bowl/All-Pro seasons, leading the league in receptions (100), receiving yards (1,502) and receiving touchdowns (13). While averaging 15.0 yards per catch and a league-best 93.9 yards per game, Rice contributed 18 catches, 208 yards and 3 more touchdowns than the season's second place finishers.
