Fantasy Football: The Top 10 Rookie Running Backs for 2017
Everybody wants a piece of Leonard Fournette, but what other young backs should you be targeting in your fantasy football drafts?

6. Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs

Average Draft Position: 8.05 (RB38)
Projected Fantasy Points: 85.80 (RB49)

At a current ADP of 8.05 -- thereby making him RB38 -- Kareem Hunt is much more relevant in fantasy drafts this season. Not only is it his talent that puts him in such a situation, but it's also the opportunity.

Spencer Ware and Charcandrick West are in line to get the most carries in the Kansas City Chiefs backfield, but Hunt has been getting a lot of work in OTAs. Like other rooks, he brings a similar skillset to the table -- having caught 41 balls for 403 yards at Toledo a year ago -- and could use his hands to get himself playing time sooner rather than later.

In line with that belief, our models project Hunt for 35 catches, 270 receiving yards, and 1.4 scores out of the backfield in 2017. Meanwhile, we expect him to tally 90 rushes, 343 yards, and 2.9 touchdowns in the Kansas City ground game.
