Fantasy Football: The Top 10 Rookie Running Backs for 2017
Everybody wants a piece of Leonard Fournette, but what other young backs should you be targeting in your fantasy football drafts?

7. Joe Williams, San Francisco 49ers

Average Draft Position: 12.09 (RB52)
Projected Fantasy Points: 71.66 (RB55)

Thanks to an advantageous situation with a re-building San Francisco franchise, Joe Williams should have more opportunities than others at the bottom of the rookie barrel. And, at that, those runners ahead of him -- Carlos Hyde and Tim Hightower -- are pretty similar runners to one another, lacking the same receiving ability as the 23-year-old.

It is for that reason that we expect Williams to produce from outside the backfield (41 catches, 327 receiving yards, and 1.0 touchdown) as well as from it (69 rushes, 274 yards, and 1.2 scores). Not bad for a guy being selected behind both Mack and Jamaal Williams at pick 12.09 in standard leagues.
