30 Fantasy Football Bold Predictions for the 2017 Season
With the NFL regular season fast approaching, let's take a look at 30 potential outcomes that would surprise the fantasy football world.

Sammy Watkins Will Fail to Score 5 Touchdowns

Why This Is Bold: Watkins has averaged 0.46 touchdowns per game over his career, and even in a worse situation with the Rams, he'll still be a fairly early fantasy football selection.

Why This Will Happen: You could argue that no place is worse to showcase Sammy Watkins' ability than in LA. Last year, Jared Goff was dead last in air yards per attempt -- he wasn't getting the ball downfield. Over the last two seasons, Watkins has averaged over 14 air yards per reception -- of the 178 50-plus target wide receiver seasons over this time, Watkins' rates rank fourth- and fifth-highest.

There are plenty of reasons to believe Goff will improve, but we also know that huge turnarounds don't happen often. Combined with a commitment to the ground game in Los Angeles, and passing touchdowns could be tough to come by. That'll hurt Watkins.
