Fantasy Football: 8 Sleeper Wide Receivers to Target in 2017
These are the high-upside wide receivers to look for late in your fantasy draft, according to our football staff.

Ted Ginn Jr., New Orleans Saints

Ted Ginn Jr. has flown under the radar this offseason in fantasy circles, considering that the veteran deep threat signed with the New Orleans Saints, a team spearheaded by Drew Brees, the NFL’s premier deep passer.

Per PlayerProfiler.com, Brees attempted the 11th-most deep ball pass attempts and had the highest completion percentage on passes of 20 yards or more in the entire league. It seems like a match made in heaven for Ginn.

Ginn is transitioning from the Panthers -- a team that never eclipsed 4,000 passing yards during his time there -- to the Saints, where Brees has passed for more than 5,000 yards in four of the last six seasons.

Brandin Cooks' departure from the Saints has vacated 117 targets from last season. While we have Michael Thomas and Willie Snead projected to be the team leaders in receptions, Ginn adds a dimension to the offense that those two players don't: lid-lifting speed.

From both a target volume and a target quality perspective, Ginn has upgraded this offseason. Our projections show the Saints have a relatively easy schedule for wide receivers, which gives Ginn the chance for a career year, and some serious boom weeks. —Aidan McGrath
