Week 1 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming: Sam Bradford Is in a Great Spot
Bradford has a delectable home matchup against the Saints, making him a sweet Week 1 streamer. Which other low-owned quarterbacks can put up good numbers this week?

Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams

ESPN Ownership: 5.3%

Speaking of the Colts, that's who Jared Goff will see in Week 1.

Let's cut to the chase -- Goff was bad last year. Like, terribly awful. Among the 39 quarterbacks with at least 100 drop backs in 2016, Goff ranked 39th -- yup, dead last -- in Passing NEP per drop back.

So you can use Goff only in the deepest of one-quarterback leagues or in two-quarterback formats, but this week's home matchup against the Indianapolis Colts is a pretty darn good spot for this Los Angeles Rams' offense.

The Rams' attack showed some flashes this preseason and acquired a desperately-needed playmaker in Sammy Watkins -- both of which make starting Goff a bit easier for us to stomach -- but it's the matchup with the Colts that is the key thing here.

By our numbers, Indy finished 2016 ranked 27th in both pass defense and total defense. On top of that, Vontae Davis, the Colts' top corner, is out, so this matchup is mighty fine.

Still, the Rams have a pedestrian 22.5 implied total, so we need to temper our expectations.

Our Week 1 projections have Goff slotted 20th at the quarterback position, putting him squarely on the map in 16-team leagues and two-quarterback formats.
