After failing to slow down Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers return to Lambeau in Week 3 for what projects to be a much easier matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are off to an 0-2 start, have yet to score a touchdown, and just fired their offensive coordinator. Through two weeks, their offense ranks as the worst in the league, according to our metrics, which supports their decision to switch offensive coordinators.
Along with the rest of the Bengals offense, Andy Dalton is off to a rough start to the season. Through two games, he's been sacked eight times and has committed five turnovers -- all of which came in Week 1.
As the Bengals look to turn things around, they'll face a Packers defense that stifled Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1 at Lambeau. In that game, the Packers sacked Wilson three times and forced one turnover. Overall, though, the Packers defense ranks in the top 10 in sacks (6) and quarterback hits (13).
Green Bay is listed as a 8.5-point favorite, which is the second largest spread of the week and the Bengals have an implied team total of just 18.00.
Even though Cincinnati has a new offensive coordinator calling plays, Week 3 might not be when the offense gets back on track, putting the Packers defense in line for a big fantasy day.
