FanDuel Price: $7,200
DraftKings Price: $5,000
Tyrod Taylor is always an intriguing fantasy quarterback because his legs give him a floor that only a handful of other quarterbacks possess. He's yet to run into the end zone, but he's third among quarterbacks with 118 yards rushing and he's run for 1,148 yards and 10 touchdowns the previous two seasons combined (29 games).
However, dating back to last season, Taylor has shown poor splits on the road. Over his last nine road starts, Taylor has averaged just 183.9 passing yards, 0.7 touchdowns, and 31.2 rushing yards per game. He salvaged a couple road games last year with rushing touchdowns, but those are hard overall numbers to get excited about.
The Cincinnati Bengals have allowed a league-high 100 rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks this season, which gives some hope for Taylor to get it going on the ground. But they pose a tough matchup, ranking 10th against the pass by numberFire's metrics while allowing under 16 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks on FanDuel and DraftKings. The Buffalo Bills also have just an 18.25 implied team total.
Taylor's legs may still get him to double-digit fantasy points, giving him a reasonable floor, but there are quarterbacks in better matchups for cash games. Considering his road woes, it's unlikely he gets you a ceiling performance worthy of tournaments.
