NFL
10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 8

Corey Davis, WR, Tennessee Titans

Yahoo Ownership Percentage: 25%

He's spent more of his NFL career nursing an injury than playing so far, but first-round pick Corey Davis makes for an interesting stash. The Tennessee Titans are heading into their bye, but that actually gives Davis extra time to rest and recover.

When he's on the field -- and hopefully he will be in Week 9 -- Davis is a commanding presence. In their only full game together, quarterback Marcus Mariota targeted Davis a whopping 10 times, and that happened while Davis played only 65 percent of the snaps.

Mariota's other receivers haven't performed all that great and the team is averaging the seventh-fewest passing yards per game. If Delanie Walker misses any time with his sprained ankle, Davis could see even greater volume when he returns.

This kind of potential target market share is very difficult to come by, especially on the waiver wire. That alone makes Davis a valuable stash if you can afford it. The Titans could use him in the receiving game, which in turn would make him a valuable fantasy asset in the coming weeks.
