Fantasy Football: 4 Unexpectedly Great Week 8 Performances
Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle was one of a number of players who enjoyed a huge fantasy football performance while on your bench in Week 8. What should your strategy be for these players in Week 9?

JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

NFL.com Start Percentage: 7.3%

Week 8 Fantasy Points: 25.3

JuJu Smith-Schuster was fantasy's second-best wide receiver in Week 8. He may not hit 25 fantasy points per game (that's a very high weekly total in NFL.com scoring), but he certainly has a chance to produce WR2 value the rest of the season.

The below table shows the weekly targets for Smith-Schuster and Martavis Bryant.

Bryant had a small lead in Week 2, but since Week 5, his usage has trended down sharply, while Smith-Schuster's has gone up. Predicting what will happen between the Steelers and Bryant is tricky, but Smith-Schuster is doing his part to remain a factor in Pittsburgh's passing game.

Honorable Mention

Will Fuller posted 24.5 points and was the week's third-best fantasy wide receiver, but is still being started in under 25 percent of leagues. It seems illogical to expect Fuller's insane touchdown efficiency to continue, however, that doesn't mean he shouldn't be starting right now. He's a solid fantasy asset worthy of starting consideration.
