In Week 8, Brandon Coleman led the New Orleans Saints' receivers with 48 snaps -- 78.7% of offensive plays. While a knee injury to Michael Thomas helped, it is clear the Coleman has leapfrogged Willie Snead for the number three wideout job in New Orleans.
Although his numbers don't jump off the page -- 19 targets, 13 catches, 245 yards -- Coleman leads the Saints' receivers in yards per catch (18.8) and, surprisingly, touchdowns (3). The fourth-year wideout has developed a strong rapport, particularly in the red zone, with Drew Brees, who called Coleman one of his favorite teammates.
For those in need of help during a bye-heavy Week 9, the Saints' matchup against the shaky Tampa Bay Buccaneers pass defense -- third-most passing yards allowed per game (275.0) -- makes Coleman worthy of a flier.
