10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 10

Brandon LaFell, WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Yahoo Ownership Percentage: 4%

A clearly frustrated A.J. Green did his best MMA impression on Jalen Ramsey yesterday, leading to his ejection, and perhaps an upcoming suspension.

Should Green be forced to miss any games, that means his whopping near 30% target market share has to go somewhere, and Brandon LaFell would be the next man up. LaFell has been around long enough that we know he's not the most exciting talent -- this is his eighth NFL season, and he's never had a 1,000-yard campaign. Still, excluding yesterday's contest in which the Jacksonville Jaguars shut down the entire Cincinnati Bengals offense, LaFell has seen target totals of 8, 7, and 5 the previous three games, good for 21% of the team's targets.

The Bengals are in a much more forgiving spot against the Tennessee Titans in Week 10, who came into the weekend ranked 28th against the pass according to numberFire's metrics. Without Green, LaFell should get peppered with targets as a high-floor play, and tight end Tyler Kroft would also benefit.

Tuesday Update: The NFL is not suspending Green, and he will play in Week 10. With this news, LaFell can be ignored in most formats.
