Josh McCown is quietly having himself a fine season, accounting for multiple scores in five straight games, settling in as the QB14 in fantasy points per game.
He had another solid if unspectacular day at the office on Thursday against the Buffalo Bills, throwing for 140 yards and 1 touchdown, while adding on 13 yards and a rushing touchdown on the ground. Although the passing yards may look underwhelming, McCown only needed a season-low 20 passing attempts, with the New York Jets rushing attack doing most of the work in a lopsided victory.
McCown is firmly back on the streaming radar in Week 10, taking on a struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that entered Week 9 ranked 29th against the pass by numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics. They did nothing to buck that trend on Sunday, predictably getting throttled by the New Orleans Saints 30-10, with Drew Brees notching 263 yards and 2 touchdowns.
