In his first action since being acquired from the Chargers in a trade, Dontrelle Inman tied Kendall Wright for the Bears' team lead with eight targets. And he made good work of that heavy usage, finishing with 6 receptions and 88 receiving yards.
His quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky, has averaged 33.5 pass attempts over the past two games, meaning that there is certainly an opportunity for the top receiver to be successful in this offense. A Week 11 meeting with the Detroit Lions, who are giving up the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers, will provide Inman with a solid opportunity for another good outing.
Trubisky has only thrown a total of three touchdown passes this season, so Inman's upside is capped, but the heavy usage and a solid matchup will keep the Bears' new wideout in play as a flex option next week.
