10 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Targets Heading Into Week 15

Mike Davis, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Yahoo Ownership: 39%

Mike Davis is the Seattle Seahawks' primary running back, but his ownership percentage barely reflects that because he hasn't had a true breakout in fantasy football.

In Week 13 against the Eagles -- the sixth-ranked rushing defense, per our numbers -- Davis put up 64 yards on 16 carries, good for 4.0 yards per carry. He also added another 37 yards on 4 receptions, demonstrating his versatility on the field.

He actually did pretty well against the Jaguars, too. Despite the poor game script, Davis had 15 carries for 66 yards. It was the second-highest yardage any single back has had against the Jags since Jacksonville's Week 8 bye.

When the Seahawks face easier rush defenses in the next two weeks (Rams and Cowboys), Davis will be the one getting the carries. His 15 carries led the team by a significant margin for the second straight week, and the team seems to have committed to him as their lead back.

It is worth noting that Davis didn't see any action after the 5:30 mark in the third quarter. Some of the reason for that may have been game-flow related (J.D. McKissic is the passing-down back and Seattle was down big), but it's also being reported that Davis suffered a rib injury. That's obviously something to keep an eye on.
