The absurd efficiency that allowed Ricky Seals-Jones to burst onto the fantasy football scene earlier this season was obviously not sustainable as he scored three touchdowns on seven receptions in Weeks 11 and 12. But even after cooling off, he has settled into a decently sized role in Arizona.
Seals-Jones has at least 5 targets in four of his last five games, and with an 11.8-yard average depth of target (fourth among all tight ends who have double-digit targets this season), he does offer some significant upside relative to his volume.
He's in an outstanding spot this week, as the Giants have really stood out in terms of how bad they have been against tight ends. They came into Week 15 allowing 8% more fantasy points per game to the position than any other team, and they proceeded to get lit up for 7 receptions, 73 yards and 2 touchdowns by Eagles tight ends on Sunday. It would only help his cause if fellow end Jermaine Gresham sat out again.
