7 Fantasy Football Splits That Matter for Week 16
Melvin Gordon should carry the load for the Chargers on Sunday. What other key numbers could lead to fantasy success this weekend?

C.J. Anderson's Increasing Volume

C.J. Anderson has averaged a 60.82% snap rate in the last three weeks, a mark nearly five percentage points higher than his season average (56.98%). He's tied with LeSean McCoy for the most carries (67) among running backs in that span.

With his usage trending upwards, it's a terrific spot to leverage Anderson in large-field daily fantasy tourneys this weekend. Most fantasy players will likely flock to Kapri Bibbs in this matchup between the Denver Broncos and Washington Redskins, seeing as how Samaje Perine tweaked his groin in practice and might not play. Bibbs may be the stone minimum across sites, but our metrics show Denver as the best rushing defense in the league. It makes sense to pivot away from Washington's backfield and instead correlate Anderson with the Broncos' stout defense. The Broncos have merely allowed the 23rd-highest percentage of fantasy points (26%) to opposing backs, anyways.

If you're still having doubts, note that Kirk Cousins has averaged 13.35 fantasy points the last four weeks, six fewer points than his average (19.32) prior to losing Chris Thompson for the season.
