Cap Savings: $4,750,000
Dead Money: $2,000,000
Lamar Miller hasn't lived up to the big-money deal he inked with the Houston Texans two offseasons ago.
In 2017, Miller managed to amass 888 rushing yards at an ugly 3.7 yards per carry. Among the 47 backs with at least 100 rushes, he ranked 32nd in both Rushing NEP per attempt and Success Rate.
D'Onta Foreman, a rookie who ended the season on injured reserve, didn’t exactly blow the doors off with his own form on a per-snap basis, but he won’t cost the team quite as much as Miller would. If cut, Miller would no doubt catch on somewhere, but he won't be making top dollar.
