Fantasy Football: One Potential Cut Candidate for Every AFC Team
With the offseason soon to begin in earnest, here is one fantasy-relevant player on each AFC squad who may find themselves heading out the door.

Tennessee Titans - DeMarco Murray

Cap Savings: $6,500,000

The Tennessee Titans insistence on trotting out DeMarco Murray time and time again in 2017 despite his obvious lack of form and fitness will be a mystery I cannot hope to solve in my lifetime. In fact, Columbo at the height of his powers probably wouldn't be able to do so. Murray was terrible last season, averaging 3.6 yards per carry on his way to 659 yards on 184 attempts.

On a per snap basis, Murray was actually even worse than those overall figures would suggest. His -0.12 Rushing NEP per Play was ranked 40th out of the 47 backs who saw at least 100 carries, and his 30.43% Success Rate came in 44th among that group.

It is time for the Derrick Henry era to begin. In fact, it is past time for it to begin since Henry out-performed Murray by a huge margin in 2017.
