Fantasy Football: One Potential Cut Candidate for Every AFC Team
With the offseason soon to begin in earnest, here is one fantasy-relevant player on each AFC squad who may find themselves heading out the door.

Oakland Raiders - Michael Crabtree

Cap Savings: $7,718,750

The Oakland Raiders offense took a major step backwards in 2017, with Derek Carr and Amari Cooper looking far from the players they were in 2016. Michael Crabtree managed to match his touchdown tally with eight, but he wasn’t exactly lights out himself. Among the 50 receivers who saw at least 80 targets, Crabtree checked in 43rd in Reception NEP per target and 39th in Target NEP per target.

Crabtree's age and salary are also marks against him, as are reports that he wasn’t exactly winning friends off the field with his behavior. There is a new coaching staff in town for the Raiders in 2018, so time will tell how they value Crabtree, but he certainly checks a lot of boxes as a cut candidate.
