Fantasy Football: 10 Running Backs to Target in PPR Leagues
Chris Thompson was a monster last year before getting injured, and he should be a pass-game maven again in 2018. Which other backs should be on your radar in PPR leagues?

Chris Thompson, Washington

Standard Running Back Projection: 34th
PPR Running Back Projection: 29th
PPR Average Draft Position: 7.12 (RB35)

It's easy to forget just how great Chris Thompson was last year before getting injured.

Well, let me remind you.

In 10 games, he amassed 64 carries for 294 yards and 2 scores with an additional 39 catches, 510 yards and 4 touchdowns as a receiver. He scored 15.1 PPR points per game, which ranked 11th at the position. And despite going on the shelf in Week 11, he still finished as the overall PPR RB28.

Dude balled out.

We shouldn't expect him to replicate that kind of pace in 2018 -- especially in the receiving touchdowns department -- but Thompson is healthy and fully expected to retain his role despite the addition of rookie Derrius Guice.

While Guice will likely handle the ground-game duties -- we peg Thompson to total only 58 carries for 253 yards and 1.42 scores as a runner -- he could be a limited participant when Washington is behind, and Vegas has their win total set at seven, with juice on the under.

Washington should see their fair share of negative game scripts, and Thompson is one of the best pass-game backs in football. We have him producing 56 receptions, 547 yards and 2.96 touchdowns through the air, making him our PPR RB29.
